Our Early Childhood Program consists of eleven (11) spacious classrooms and is FREE to all 3 and 4 year- old Trenton residents.  Children MUST be 3 yrs. old by September 30th of the enrollment year.   Classroom ratio is 2 adults to 1 child.  Our classrooms are limited to 15 students to ensure the best learning ratio for our young learners.

At Howley School LLC, we have an inherent understanding of and sensitivity to what makes children tick. It is our goal to nurture each child in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive areas, thereby promoting the development of the whole child. We believe that children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually at a highly individualized pace. It is through play that children learn, and our state of the art classrooms provide a hands-on environment for active learning. The children are given the opportunity to work at their own pace and on their own level with developmentally appropriate materials. 

We recognize the individuality of each child and want each child’s pre-school experience to be challenging and rewarding. Our program will assist each child in developing independence, decision-making, and problem solving skills via learning activities that underscore cooperation, experimentation, cultural diversity, and self-sufficiency along with a love of learning. It is important to foster a positive working relationship between teachers, parents, and children which allows us to provide a strong and effective program to encourage pre-schoolers to adopt a humane posture that will blaze a trail to a successful school career.
